True, but when one mark caught him doing a bad Mexican Turnover, the mark just stopped betting and so did the others. The operator picked up his cards and went to another spot.

I think the fact that he was bad and was caught on several occasions just led to more marks trying their hand at what they thought was a “sure thing.”

Years ago I saw a Three Card Monte game on Hollywood Blvd. The guy had an enforcer with him… a big burly guy that looked like Mr. T. The operator was horrible and was caught many times. But, like the cop said, they control the game and the enforcer stepped in when someone got persistent. (Oh, and by the way, he did make money off of his marks).

Great video. It looks like the policeman was doing the moves himself. Would the “enforcer” actually carry a knife like he said?
