Our website gave the chance to win a $300 Westfield gift card for liking our page last year. The lucky liker was from WA and boy, was she happy to go on a shopping spree with her giftcard! Its the people who ruin that make people untrusting online. I guess you just need to check out the credibility of the website offering giveaways! I hate to admit it but myself and a number of people on my friends list fell for this scam - and the next time we logged in, we had facebook security alerts saying that there had been attempts to log into our accounts from unusual locations - mine was Nicaragua.
